As a child of the 1980s, I remember savoring the charcuterie boom's infancy. Those Lunchables were a big hit at the lunch table, with every kid showing off and exchanging their contents. Even back then, I was aware of how our taste buds respond to the contrast of savory and sweet flavors.
For many years, I have hosted cocktail parties, football Sundays, and Super Bowl parties, as well as book clubs and game night gatherings. With each event, I always presented a beautiful display of meats, cheeses, and other accoutrements. These pre meal displays easily became the focus of each gathering leaving guests wondering...to graze or not to graze.

Gathering and eating with friends is something I enjoy doing.
The purpose of Time for Charcuterie was to bring people together and start a dialogue.
